A military serviceman has died Sunday, after a vehicle fell into a reservoir in Tavush Province of Armenia.
Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Ministry of Emergency Situations that, at 2:04pm, the 911 emergency hotline received a report that a car had fallen into a reservoir near Tavush village, and rescuers were needed.
A rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
The rescuers who arrived at the scene brought the dead body of a person out of the said reservoir.
And shamshyan.com reported that, according to those assembled at the scene, a contract serviceman was driving this car.
Police have determined that the automobile had gone off road, crashed into reinforced concrete barriers, and ended up in this reservoir.
