The Armenian side highly appreciates the warm and caring attitude of the Iranian authorities towards the Iranian-Armenian community, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with IRNA agency.
He emphasized that a strong and vibrant Diaspora is one of the pillars of Armenia’s development.
“Armenian communities living in different parts of the world and becoming an indivisible part of country’s life are a kind of bridge for the strengthening of bilateral relations.
The centuries-old Iranian-Armenian community is not an exception in this regard. It has made a practical contribution in terms of developing Iran’s social, economic and cultural wealth. It has been a serious factor in promoting our bilateral relations from the very beginning of restoration of Armenia’s independence.
We highly appreciate the warm and caring attitude of the Iranian authorities towards the Iranian-Armenian community. I want to emphasize the Iranian authorities’ caring attitude towards Armenian cultural values,” he said.
