YEREVAN. – A signature bond to not leave Armenia has been selected as a pretrial measure for Aleksandr Sargsyan, the brother of third President Serzh Sargsyan. 

The National Security Service (NSS) press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during preliminary investigation of the case involving Aleksandr Sargsyan, a charge has been filed against him under the Criminal Code article on fraud committed in a particularly large scale.

The preliminary investigation is still in progress.

As reported earlier, by decision of the NSS, Aleksandr Sargsyan’s property was seized in July 2018.
