Armenian President Armen Sarkissian met on Tuesday with John Thornhill, the editor of the Financial Times Innovation edition.

John Thornhill says he is impressed with the Armenian ancient history and rich culture which he has been acquainted with visiting historical and cultural sites.

Armenian President and John Thornhill spoke about the past and future of Armenia, in particular, about new ways and development innovations.

President Sarkissian noted that the basis of all this is education and Armenia attaches great importance to education, science and technology, encouraging young people to offer new ideas, to master new technologies and create startups.
