President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, Ashot Ghoulyan  met with a group of deputies of the European Parliament, Artsakh National Assembly’s press service reported.

According to the source, presenting the participants, the head of the European Parliament-Armenia Friendship Group Eleni Theocharous noted that the meeting provides ample opportunities for exchanging views on various issues relating to Artsakh.

Ashot Ghoulyan, in turn, touched upon the successful experience of cooperation with European Parliament MPs, federal and regional deputies of the Belgian parliament. During The sides exchanged views on the recognition of the right of Artsakh’s people to self-determination, the peaceful settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, Artsakh’s participation in various EU programs, including those aimed at developing civil society.
