YEREVAN. – NATO continues to be an important partner of Armenia.

Levon Ayvazyan, head of the Department of Defense Policy at the Ministry of Defense (MOD), noted the abovementioned at Monday’s press conference devoted to the start of NATO Week in Armenia.

In his words, Armenia-NATO cooperation continues to develop quite productively in numerous domains.

“We have several directions in which NATO gives us [Armenia] expert advice,” Ayvazyan explained.

Also, he stressed that Armenia will carry on collaboration with NATO also within the framework of peacekeeping missions, and added that the latter will continue to expand the opportunities for Armenia’s cooperation with the armed forces of the countries of this alliance.
