YEREVAN. – A working group has been established at the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration, to seek the options for eliminating possible obstacles before Armenia on the road to implementation of priorities at the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

NA “Prosperous Armenia” Faction member Mikayel Melkumyan, who also chairs the aforesaid standing committee, on Tuesday stated the above-said at the first meeting of this working group.

In his words, the single Eurasian market has not been brought to fruition yet, there are signed agreements, but there also are unresolved matters, and this is acknowledged by the EAEU organizations, too.

“There are issues that we need to resolve,” Melkumyan said. “There should be a single social environment in all EAEU member countries.”

The Eurasian Economic Union comprises Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
