YEREVAN. – A soldier died Tuesday at the border of Armenia.

Artsrun Hovhannisyan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, informed about the aforesaid in a Facebook post.

In particular, he noted that Private Hamlet Avagyan (born in 2000), a serviceman of a military unit of the Armed Forces and a medical assistant, on Tuesday died at the northeastern border zone, and while carrying out his service duties

“[But] the death was not from the adversary’s fire,” Hovhannisyan added. “The relevant bodies will inform the other details.”
