Iran might revise its defense strategy, if the regional powers continue to fund their nuclear programs. This is what secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Shahmani said, reports TASS.

“Some regional powers are using petrol dollars to include nuclear programs in their agendas. This poses a threat to regional and global security and may lead to a more horrible crisis than terrorism and ISIS,” Fars agency cites Shahmani’s words. According to him, “such changes pose new threats that are a matter of concern for Tehran”. “Based on the nature and geography of the new challenges, we will ascertain our strategy by which the Armed Forces will be guided,” he emphasized.
