The fair, pro-Armenian and ultimate solution to the Artsakh issue requires the goal-oriented and regulated activities of each and every one of us. This is what former Deputy of the National Assembly, leader of Republic Party Aram Sargsyan wrote on his Facebook page.

He particularly stated the following:

“Bringing the authorities of Artsakh back to the negotiating table, specifying the Madrid Principles and strengthening Armenia’s positions in the negotiation process require daily efforts in diplomacy and in the field of information not only with the co-chairing countries and the beneficiary countries of the conflict, but also the so-called international community. There is a need to change the atmosphere.

I have said several times that it is necessary to work with Azerbaijan step-by-step in order to achieve confidence and mutual understanding through interactions with different groups of society.

It is necessary to work accurately and meticulously in the fields of information and advocacy in order to prepare the peoples of the region for peace. The most basic thing and the only guarantee for success is to take advantage of every day and hour to get Armenia’s economy back on its feet and re-exploit large industries in order to raise the standard of living of people through the creation of jobs and solve demographic problems. Armies fight in a war, but States either win or are defeated.”
