YEREVAN. – Employees of the cafés at Liberty Square—in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan—are not allowing the tractor to continue dismantling their cafés.

The Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informed from the scene that a demonstrator even attempted to get on the tractor, but the police stopped her.

The situation remains tense at Liberty Square in downtown Yerevan.

The workers of these cafés demand to meet with Mayor Hayk Marutyan.

Viktor Mnatsakanyan, Head of Kentron Administrative District of Yerevan, is trying to negotiate with them.
