The Givealittle Foundation raised $ 2,482,792.09 to support victims affected by the shooting of mosques in New Zealand, the foundation's website reported.
At the moment, about 37 thousand donors have made their financial contribution.
“Dozens of families have been bereaved and many more injured by today's horrific shootings. They deserve our help and support! All donations received to this page will be used to provide support and resources for people affected by the Christchurch shootings and their family members,” the website of the organization reported.
A total of 50 people have been killed as a result of attack at two mosques in Christchurch.
Brenton Tarrant, a 28-year-old man, has been arrested and charged with murder. He appeared in court earlier Saturday.
