Today, the price for gas transit is an thorny issue of debate, as it is a key issue for the formation of a common gas market, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, former Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan told Forbes, commenting on the question what is the most difficult question for negotiations between the EAEU countries.

According to him, there is the position of Belarus that the price of transit should be common, and there is the position of Russia that the price of transit should not be discriminatory. “It cannot be single, because there are many factors that influence the price. The cost price,  infrastructure, the need for capital investment in this infrastructure, the distance of transportation - there are many factors, but there should be an understandable logic for determining the price, ” he noted.
