Armenia intends to actively develop new technologies in the military-industrial complex, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister recalled that when speaking of military capabilities, it is necessary to keep in mind not only the development of our own military-industrial complex, but also the procurement of weapons.

“We are taking steps in this direction. They began in May 2018. And now structural and substantive changes are continuing in the military-industrial complex. I am sure that there will be significant achievements,” the Prime Minister said.

According to him, now there are some developments and the authorities of the country hope to put them on the rails of mass production in the future.

“There are projects at the final stage, at the stage of discussions and ideas. I think that Armenia should be a technologically developed country,” Pashinyan assured.
