YEREVAN. – One of the sections of Northern Avenue in downtown Yerevan will be renamed as Europe Square.

The decision was adopted during the meeting of the Council of Elders on Tuesday. The opening of Europe Square is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe and will be timed to the visit of PACE president Lilian Maury-Pasquier to Yerevan, representative of the municipality Armine Vardanyan said during the meeting.
