Armenia attaches great importance to the chairmanship of the Eurasian Union, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters on Tuesday.

According to him, within the chairmanship, a meeting of the Eurasian Union intergovernmental council and the Supreme Economic Council at the level of heads of states will be held once.

“Our chairmanship is very important and we hope that within its framework the effectiveness of the organization will increase. Now there are officially about eight dozen obstacles to the development of our cooperation on the territory of the Eurasian Union,” the PM said.
