I have trouble saying how many public servants will be laid off. This is what Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan told journalists on 19 March.

“I can’t say how many people will be laid off because I haven’t calculated the number. I will try to clarify the issue and state the number in my speech,” he said.

In response to the question about changes to be made to the government’s structure, the minister said the following: “There will be 12 ministries. I have submitted the legislative package to the government and it has been approved. The ministries will be adjoined and repetitive functions will be reduced.”
