President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman has blamed Turkey for being an ally to ISIS, reports RIA Novosti.
“Why are they attacking the Kurds? It is because they are actually allies to ISIS,” Zeman said in response to a question from the audience while giving a speech in front of residents of the Vintirzhov village of Karlovi Var region.
According to him, “there is information that it was Turkey that mediated for ISIS in certain logistics operations while supplying ISIS when it had occupied large sectors of Syria and Iraq”.
“Turkey mediated when it was specifically supplying oil and more,” Zeman added.
According to Zeman, Turkey’s President Tayyib Erdogan “had made a bet on Turkey’s Islamization”. “This is more like a state that believes in the Islamic ideology. Logically, it is close to Islamic radicals, and on the contrary, it attacks Kurds,” the Czech president said.
