Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will not able to even board the plane if he attempts to arrive in Ukraine, the latter’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, said in a TV interview.
“It’s a 300-dollar April Fools’ Day PR,” Inforesist quoted Avakov as saying. “He decided that that’s how he will pay for his time on [the air of] your channel. Saakashvili will not even board the plane. They will not let him because his entry to the territory of Ukraine is banned; a court ban is in place”
Mikheil Saakashvili, who is exiled from Ukraine, recently stated that he had bought an airline ticket to Ukraine because he is convinced that incumbent Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will lose in the election.
