An elderly man has died Saturday, after being hit by a van in Ararat Province of Armenia.

At around 12։10pm, a van hit Ararat Province resident Ashot H., 85, on the Yerevan-Yeraskh motorway.

According to shamshyan.com, the driver of this vehicle did not flee the scene, he called a hospital, and helped so that the victim can be taken there. 

But the elderly man died en route to hospital, and without regaining consciousness.

Artashat city police impounded the aforesaid van.
