An aristocratic family is selling a private "paradise" island located in the Sicily region, CNN reported.

Isola delle Femmine is a wild pristine atoll and is up for sale with offers invited of more than €1million.

The family is selling the island to afford the upkeep of estates they've owned for centuries.

The uninhabited oval-shaped island is part of a protected marine park that's now an elite scuba diving.

It is noted that at first the owners wanted 3.5 million euros for the island but there were no buyers and they lowered the price.

It is noted that Isola delle Femmine also has great historical value.
