The Upper Lars checkpoint on Russia-Georgia border is closed for all kinds of vehicles, Armenia’s emergency situations ministry reported quoting Georgian officials.

Around 142 vehicles, including 115 trucks, are stuck on the Russian side of the border.

Several roads in Armenia are difficult to pass because of snow storm in Shirak province, as well as heavy snow in Aragatsotn region. It is snowing in Noyemberyan, Berd, Dilijan towns of Tavush province.

The Upper Lars checkpoint is the only land route for the Armenian passengers and goods to enter Russia.
