YEREVAN. – Spanish construction company owes 17 Armenian companies more than 1.5 billion drams, Minister of Transport, IT and Communication Hakob Arshakyan told reporters on Monday.

According to the minister, Spanish company concluded a treaty with those who helped in carrying out construction works at Ashtarak-Talin section within the framework of Tranch 2 stage.

“We are not aware of the reasons for not paying the companies,” Arshakyan said.

The minister emphasized that the government fulfilled its commitments.

“We are holding talks with the Spanish company. We are expecting the visit of the representatives of the Spanish company to continue talks,” he said.
