US President Donald Trump on Monday met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which they confirmed the strong and special ties between the two countries, the White House announced.

As per the respective statement, Trump and Netanyahu discussed their mutual interest on several matters. 

Also, Trump stressed the US commitment to Israeli security.

Netanyahu, for his part, thanked Trump for the recognition of Israel’s sovereignty over Golan Heights.

Furthermore, both leaders stated the need for counteracting to the aggression by Iran.
