YEREVAN. – The integration of science in all domains of the country’s life is important, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at Tuesday’s annual general meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.

In his words, the results of scientific research should have applied importance, and serve the changes which the country puts before itself as a task.

“It’s important that higher education be involved in scientific work,” the PM noted. “It’s important that the representatives of scientific circles be involved in the formation of the strategy for the country’s development.” 

He stressed that the integration of science in public life will help form a high level of public self-awareness, so that “we have a clear understanding of ourselves as a society, as a people as, a citizen.”
