Ontario provincial police seized a large shipment of drugs and weapons worth over 1.2 million Canadian dollars (over $900 thousand), CBC reported.
The investigation was launched into a 35-year-old Brampton man who was allegedly trafficking drugs within the region.
Peel Regional Police seized over $1.2 million worth of drugs and cash, as well as 26 firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
The man is now facing 60 charges, including for drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons.
