Armenian Ambassador to Sweden Alexander Arzumanyan presented his Letters of Credence to Carl XVI Gustaf on Thursday. The solemn ceremony at the Royal Palace was followed by a private talk between Carl XVI Gustaf and Ambassador Arzumanyan.

Congratulating the ambassador on the start of his diplomatic service in Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf was curious about the events taking place in Armenia's domestic politics, as well as touched upon the foreign policy agenda of Sweden and Armenia and prospects for the development of relations.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Ambassador Arzumanyan noted that it is a great honor and responsibility for him to  be the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Scandinavian countries and will do everything possible to strengthen ties with Sweden and other countries of the region and to strengthen the friendship between nations.
