Long, saturated, effective — this is how OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Stefan Visconti described the Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting during a briefing with journalists forming a part of the delegation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Vienna, reports Tert.am.

“We hope this continues,” he said. When asked when the next meeting would take place, he said the following: “You’ll know when the President and the Prime Minister tell you about that.”

Afterwards, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Anjey Kasprzik came out of Bristol Hotel, but refused to answer the journalists’ questions. “No comment,” he said.

The meeting of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev kicked off in Vienna at 14:00 Yerevan time with the participation of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The wide-format meeting was followed by the private talks between Pashinyan and Aliyev. Three hours later, they were joined by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and the Co-Chairs once again.

After the meeting, Nikol Pashinyan said that the meeting was normal, while Aliyev called to wait for the statement of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
