Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev thanked the Austrian side for organizing his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Vienna, Aliyev said  at a meeting with the Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz on Friday, TASS reported quoting Azertag

“The head of the Azerbaijani state briefed the Chancellor of Austria on the meeting held in Vienna with the Prime Minister of Armenia and expressed gratitude to the Austrian side for organizing this meeting,” Azertag news agency reported.

Aliyev also noted the high level of political ties between Azerbaijan and Austria, and stressed that there is great potential for expanding cooperation between the two countries in the trade and economic sphere, in the field of information technology, agriculture and transport. In particular, it was noted that Austrian companies can use the transport infrastructure created by Azerbaijan in the region.

Aliyev invited Kurz to visit Azerbaijan. “The Chancellor accepted the invitation with satisfaction, stressing that Austria attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan,” the report says.

On Friday, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed settlement of the Karabakh conflict in the Austrian capital for three and a half hours.
