A man ran towards a car carrying the Moroccan king shortly after the arrival of Pope Francis  in the country. The incident video is posted on The Guardian Youtube Channel.

It is noted that the man was immediately seized by security guards.

The video shows King Mohammed VI, standing up in an open-topped car and waving at crowds lining a street in Rabat, traveling in a motorcade alongside the pope’s vehicle. The cortege of the king continued its way.

It was not immediately clear what the man was trying to do.
