There have to be changes, not only in terms of weapons and ammunition, but also personnel, meaning the army has to replenished with worthy servicemen. This is what Pavlik Manukyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am on 2 April.

According to him, weapons and ammunition are very important, but it is necessary to restore confidence in the army.

“We Armenians are faced with the issue of existence. It has been like this for centuries and will continue to be likes for centuries to come. We have to deduce and restore everything with worthy people,” Manukyan said.

“We haven’t learned lessons from the Four-Day Artsakh War. Armenian soldiers are the loneliest in Armenia, and Armenian officers are worth the least,” Pavlik Manukyan said.
