Iranian top military official announced the Islamic Republic had successfully tested the research model of a radar evading aircraft, Press TV reports referring to Mehr news agency.

The aircraft will be produced in the near future, said Iran Air Force Commander Hassan Shah-Safi.

The country has also launched numerous military hardware projects, including aerial and sea-borne military vehicles such as submarines, combat frigates, and various types of missiles.

In February country’s defense minister Ahmad Vahidi said the Islamic Republic had completed 32 scientific and research projects. The new technology can be used in space, missile, submarine, arms, and ammunition projects.
