The opening ceremony of Yeremyan Projects Culinary Arts and Hospitality Academy took place on Tuesday in Yerevan at Teryan 91 st.

Welcoming the guests, the General Director of Yeremyan Projects presented the details, missions and goals of the initiative.

“For years, we have been accumulating knowledge and experience that we can share today with young people entering the field. New generation chefs of the Yeremyan Academy will become our business card, our ambassadors while presenting Armenian cuisine in the international market,” he said.

The Center for Culinary Arts and Hospitality is designed for both the beginners and professionals in cooking.  There are such training courses as:

Culinary Arts;

Cooking for Beginners (base);

Specialized training courses for experienced cooks;

Confectionery;

Confectionery (base);

Professional training for experienced confectioners;

Restaurant Management,

Service;

The exclusive partner of the Yeremyan Projects’ Culinary Arts and Hospitality Academy is the UK's Activate Learning, Group City of Oxford College, which has approved and certified the academy's learning programs. At the end of the trainings the students will be awarded with joint graduation certificates from City of Oxford College and Yeremyan Projects Culinary Arts and Hospitality Academy.

"This is our first joint program in Armenia. We are collaborating with different countries around the world and I must admit that the best example of compliance with all our standards at the world level is the Yeremyan Projects Academy. I'm very impressed with everything I've seen here. I am confident that together we will be able to develop the culinary arts and hospitality industry in Armenia,” said Francis Lawson, International Cooperation Director at Activate Learning, City of Oxford, UK.

Accordong to Nazeli Navasardyan, the Academy is unique, with its innovative technology used in contemporary cuisines of the world's best restaurants.

Participants communicated with instructors and distinguished guests, walked around the academy, getting acquainted with building, technical conditions, furnishings and unique innovative solutions that contribute to the comfort of the students and the effectiveness of the learning process.

The training course of Yeremyan Projects Culinary Arts and Hospitality Academy kicks off on April 15.
