I have been interviewed in the case of the events of 1 March 2008 as a representative of Levon Ter-Petrosyan who appeared in the Constitutional Court and disputed the decision adopted by the Central Electoral Commission. This is what Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan stated during an event dedicated to the first anniversary of Supreme Judicial Council on 10 April.

Zeynalyan stated that he doesn’t have all the information about the case of the events of 1 March 2008.

“I have represented the interests of 9 victims in the episodes related to the events of 1 March in Armenia’s courts and in the European Court of Human Rights. I have also represented the interests of certain arrestees, prisoners and tortured people in the European Court of Human Rights, including Ashot Manukyan, Bareghamyanand several others. We’re waiting for the results. As minister, I can’t be their representative anymore since there is a clash of interests,” he said.
