Georgia agreed with Gazprom to purchase gas in small quantities, the Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia told reporters on Thursday, without elaborating.

According to her, the agreement with Gazprom has already been drawn up, and Georgia will l buy gas from Russia in small quantities.

Georgia has not bought gas from Russia since 2006. The country only received 10% of the total volume of Russian gas transit to Armenia. Already in 2017, Russia paid Georgia for this transit with money and partially with raw materials, and in 2018 with money only.
