Turkey links relations with Armenia to Azerbaijan, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the PACE spring session.

His remarks came in response to comment on the development of relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan.

“Unfortunately, we do not have diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey. And if everything is clear on Azerbaijan, then in the case of Turkey there is a slightly different picture,” he said.

According to PM, establishment of relations with Armenia Turkey directly connects with Azerbaijan.

“Armenia has not changed its position on this matter. We expressed our readiness to establish relations with Turkey without any preconditions,” the premier added.

He noted that Armenia wants only peaceful development of relations with neighboring states.

“I am glad that our government was able to put an exclusively peace agenda on the negotiating table,” Pashinyan concluded.
