YEREVAN. – In 2018, the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Centre (RAHRC) provided 60 tons of food as humanitarian aid to vulnerable groups of the population in Armenia.

Anton Serenko, the RAHRC chief specialist on projecting and monitoring, told about the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, he recalled the RAHRC’s second humanitarian action, within the framework of which 100 tons of food was transported to Syria as humanitarian aid.

Serenko added that the RAHRC has can establish a direct video link with the International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO) in Geneva, Switzerland.

In addition, the specialist underscored the need for exchange of knowhow and constantly improving the qualifications of the Centre’s staff.

Furthermore, he spoke about the logistical capacity of the RAHRC.

Anton Serenko noted that, from October 2017 to March 2018, the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Centre received 42 types of equipment and material resources.
