On 13 April, a major car accident took place in Tavush Province. At around 21:30, the 911 operative management center of the Rescue Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report that the driver of a Lexus transit 8800 GL had curved off the road in the 83rd km section of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan road, crashed into a metal barrier and into a tree and was upside down at the start of the fourth curve after spinning nearly 30 meters.
Two people were transferred from the scene of the incident to the medical center in Dilijan. Police officers on the site found out that the license plate number of the Lexus transit was fake and that the real number was 15 DD 999.
According to the source, hours before the accident, police officers of Vagharshapat had found the owner of the specified car brutally killed in his apartment in the city of Etchmiadzin.
The photojournalist also reported that the real numbers were found on the crushed Lexus and that it is suspected that the assassins and supporters were in the mentioned car.
On 13 April at around 18:00, the Vagharshapat police station received an alarm about the body of a man found in one of the apartments of building #10 on Mashtots Street of Etchmiadzin. Police officers and investigators found the body of 81-year-old Gagik Baghdasaryan in the bedroom of the apartment on the second floor of the building.
