Nikol Pashinyan is in Ijevan where he spent the day with his childhood friends, almost the same way he did in 2008 and described in his novel. This is what he wrote on his Facebook page.

“Today I spent the day with my childhood friends in Ijevan almost the same way I described it in the particular chapter of the book “The Other Side of the Earth”.

According to the plot, I am dreaming about Armenia while sitting at a bar in Lausanne. The plot was written in May 2008.

At the time, I presented my friends with pseudonyms in order to protect myself from possible persecution,” Pashinyan wrote in his Facebook post.
