The non-diplomatic manners of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo cast doubts that he is considering contacts between Moscow and Washington as an opportunity for constructive dialogue, RIA Novosti reported quoting the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The ministry noted that during his ongoing tour in Latin American countries, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has made a number of unacceptable statements about  Russia, particularly in the context of the events in Venezuela.

Earlier, Pompeo accused Russia of interfering in Venezuela’s domestic affairs.
