Donald Trump said Notre Dame cathedral was burning at a level that you rarely see a fire burn.

He said when he left a plane in Paris he was the cathedral was burning.

“Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out. Must act quickly!” Trump suggested.

He also described Notre Dam as one of the great treasures of the world.

The fire broke out at around 6:30 pm Monday, and the roof, the clock and spire was damaged. According to preliminary reports, the fire started during the restoration works. The French authorities said large fire has been extinguished.
