The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has great expectations from Armenia and its leadership. This is what head of the Armenian delegation to the pace, head of the Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan said during a briefing devoted to the results of the PACE session on 16 April.

According to the parliamentarian, he didn’t see criticism in particular.

“The PACE has expectations. This means that everyone needs to take action,” Marukyan noted. When told that there were not many people in the audience during Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s speech at the PACE, Marukyan said he was present during the speech of ex-president Serzh Sargsyan and there were as many people back then.

As far as the absence of sharp questions addressed to the Prime Minister is concerned, Marukyan said the representatives of Turkey and Azerbaijan were giving sharp questions and only one delegate from each country gave one question due to lack of time.
