The candidate might not have good rhetoric, but he is a good specialist and has nothing in common with the former authorities.

This is what leader of Bright Armenia Party and head of the political party’s parliamentary faction Edmon Marukyan said during the discussion on the position of judge of the Constitutional Court.

He was particularly bewildered by the positions of deputies of the My Step Alliance.

“Yes, I also don’t like some of the statements by Gor Hovhannisyan, and I might not agree with everything he says, but why did the My Step Alliance nominate this person, if it was initially against his candidacy and wasn’t going to endorse him?” Marukyan stated.

However, Marukyan also stated that his party would endorse Hovhannisyan as a specialist since “each candidate can have flaws”.
