On 16 April, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Artak Zeynalyan received anti-corruption experts of the United Nations Development Programme Anga Timilsina and Aida Arutyunova and Deputy Coordinator at the World Bank/UNODC Stolen Asset Recovery Initiative Shervin Majlessi, reports the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.

Minister Zeynalyan stated that the Armenian government is determined to materialize the non-material value obtained through the revolution. “We are ready to do our best to work with you to gain as much knowledge about and experience in the fight against corruption as possible,” Artak Zeynalyan stated.

During the meeting, the parties addressed the topics to be discussed during the upcoming two-day international conference devoted to Armenia’s anti-corruption strategy, particularly the type of the Independent Anti-Corruption Body, the international experience in introducing the institute of recovery of assets obtained illegally, anti-corruption education and other issues.
