YEREVAN. – Chairman of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition Artak Shaboyan will leave for Washington to work for the International Monetary Fund.

A day before Armenian PM NIkol Pashinyan nominated Agriculture Minister Gegham Gevorgyan for the position of the chairman of State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition.

Talking to Armenian News-NEWS.am Artak Shaboyan said he has been actively working with IMF since 2004 and “is still a consultant of this authoritative organization”.
