On 17 April, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia introduced Tatul Hakobyan (Armenia’s candidate in the position of Director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe) to the heads of diplomatic representations of Europe accredited to Armenia.

As reported the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Artak Apitonyan and Minister of Healthcare Arsen Torosyan presented the candidate’s professional qualities, and Apitonyan attached importance to Armenia’s cooperation with specialized institutions, particularly the World Health Organization.

Tatul Hakobyan shared his vision and presented his plans for the future activities of the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the proposed changes. He also answered questions from the ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Armenia.
