US President Donald Trump asked his daughter Ivanka if she was interested in becoming the head of the World Bank (WB), and she passed it, she said in an interview to AP

Ivanka Trump said her father asked her if she was interested in the job of World Bank chief but that she was happy with her current role in the administration.

Asked if her father had approached her about other top jobs, Ivanka Trump said she would “keep that between us.”

He added that he did not nominate her as a candidate for the position amid the fears that this would be considered a manifestation of nepotism.

On February 1, Jim Yong Kim left the WB presidency.
