YEREVAN. – At Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the government, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan touched upon the issue of gasoline and compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Armenia.
“In our country now, the [compressed natural] gas stations don’t give a cash register receipt in a widespread manner; the gasoline stations [also] don’t give [it],” he said. “Every day they say to me that they demonstratively don’t give a cash register receipt, and say: specific people are behind the [compressed natural] gas stations and gasoline stations.”
Subsequently, the PM instructed the head of the market surveillance inspection body, the National Security Service director, and Police chief to resolve this matter.
