YEREVAN. – I’m unable to say who I’m obstructing. But I clearly realize that, from the topics covered by different circles, that they are attempting to create a situation that, on that emotional backdrop, I go against the prime minister of the country.

Head of the State Oversight Service of Armenia, Davit Sanasaryan, on Thursday told the aforesaid to reporters when asked whether he knows exactly who he is obstructing.

“There can’t be such a thing [his opposing PM Nikol Pashinyan],” Sanasaryan said. “I trust the prime minister of the country, and that’s why I’m here. There can’t be such a thing that the prime minister of the country order a political persecution against me; at the moment I rule out such a thing.

“The State Oversight Service has functions that it can ‘trample the legs’ of many—within the law.”
