Ammunition was found Thursday, in Kotayk Province of Armenia.

At 5:37pm, the 911 emergency hotline received a report that a grenade-like object was found while carrying out farming work at a summerhouse in Nurnus village, and rescuers were needed.

A rescue squad and an engineering detachment were dispatched to the scene.

A mortar head, three grenades, parts of a Kalashnikov automatic rifle, two bullets, and an explosive powder of unknown origin were discovered on the plot of land nearby the garden cabin of the said summerhouse.

Rescuers isolated the area.

Sappers from the Ministry of Defense removed the detected ammunition.
